Following on from our Kid Friendly Falafel bowls, we obviously had to have dessert! We had a lot of fun coming up with this deceivingly healthy Chocolate Mousse and yummy strawberry smoothie bowl. You’ll need a few bananas on hand for this one, some frozen and some ripe. You can substitute any frozen berries for the smoothie bowl and feel free to use coconut milk if you’re making it for yourself.
Chocolate Mousse
1 x ripe banana
1 x avocado
3-4 tbsp cacao
4-5 tbsp honey (adjust to suit your taste)
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp milk
Put everything in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve with banana slices.
Strawberry Smoothie Bowl
1 frozen banana
1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup oats
Put everything in a blender and mix until smooth. It may help to let the frozen fruit defrost a little before placing in your blender.
Top with extra oats and some desiccated coconut and keep the extras for yourself!
