Mango Daiquiri, A Dietitian and a Photographer Cocktail recipe2

With Christmas celebrations finished for another year, I’ve been sleeping and reading my way through that weird little period between Christmas and New Years. The Christmas leftovers are dwindling, but somehow a family of 5 are still scraping together enough ham for sandwiches every day. With New Years Eve not too far away at all, I decided to test run an old favourite for the occasion. These mango daiquiri’s are the perfect refreshment for a warm evening.
If you’re the designated driver, feel free to add lemonade instead of Vodka (it thins out the mix a little bit more!)

Mango Daiquiri

Serves 2

400g frozen mango, in pieces
100ml lime juice
40g sugar
60ml Vodka
Mint leaves to garnish

Place ingredients in blender (except mint) and mix until blitzed. Taste test and adjust to your taste with more lime or sugar.

Serve immediately and say Cheers to the New Year!
